Rodriguez is a 5-9 junior from Porlamar, Venezuela.
He was a key player for head coach Marc Walters last weekend in their march towards the MEC Post-Season championship.
Rodriguez went 3-1 in the tournament after the Bobcats defeated Fairmont State in the semi-finals and Charleston in the finals.
Playing from the No. 3 position in singles, he beat Fairmont State’s Gui Pachane (6-2, 7-5) and then downed Charleston’s Alek Gracin (6-4, 6-1).
In doubles action, he teamed with Lukas Laipold at the number two spot.
The duo beat Fairmont State’s Lucas Alves and Matais Higueras 8-5 and but dropped an 8-3 decision to Charleston.
The two wins helped clinch a berth for the Bobcats in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament which will be played this weekend at Chowan University.
Pogue is a 5-7 senior outfielder from Glendale, Ariz.
Last week for the Lady ‘Cats, she hit at the ball at a .545 clip with 13 runs scored in a 6-0 week.
She leads the team in runs, hits, stolen bases and batting average.
Pogue is 20th in the nation in batting average with a .465 average.
The eighth-ranked Lady Bobcats will wrap up their regular season this weekend hosting UVa.-Wise and Concord in a pair of MEC doubleheaders respectively on Saturday and Sunday.
