BUCKHANNON – First-year West Virginia Wesleyan Acrobatics & Tumbling head coach Courtney Pate will hold a one day 2017 Acrobatics & Tumbling Clinic on the Wesleyan campus Saturday, Aug. 5.
The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Wesleyan's Rockefeller Center.
The clinic is open to all athletes ages eight and up.
The cost of the camp is $70.
Athletes must bring a water bottle and their own lunch. An hour break from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. will be given for lunch and athletes may leave campus for lunch with permission.
Attendees are asked to wear athletic shorts or spandex, tank top or t-shirt and tennis shoes.
The clinic will include an introduction to the sport, acrobatic skills and techniques, tumbling skills, learning pyramid structures and toss elements. Pate will begin with basic drills and continue with progressions throughout each session.
