Pate Announces First Ever Acrobatics & Tumbling Schedule

BUCKHANNON -- West Virginia Wesleyan Acrobatics and Tumbling head coach Courtney Pate (pictured) has announced her program's inaugural schedule.

Pate's Lady Bobcat squad opens competition on Feb. 5 at Davis & Elkins. More history will take place later that month when Pate's team hosts Fairmont State in the first home meet ever on Feb. 23.

In all the team has seven meets, five of which are against in-state foes; Davis & Elkins, West Liberty, Fairmont State, Alderson Broaddus and Glenville State. Both out-of-state foes will be visiting Wesleyan in Adrian College and Georgetown College.

Their season closes on April 26-28 at the NCATA National Championships at Gannon University.

"We are beyond excited about the release of our 2018 schedule," Pate said.  "We will have the privilege of traveling and competing against many of the surrounding institutions here in West Virginia. We are also looking forward to hosting three home meets in Rockefeller Center. We hope to see the West Virginia Wesleyan community come out to support this team as we kick off our inaugural season in the upcoming spring!"
