BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team dropped two spots regionally in the fifth weekly installment of the United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Rankings that were released Tuesday.
The Bobcats were third in the Atlantic Region last week but dropped to fifth this week after an 0-2 week after facing No. 1 Charleston and a strong Lock Haven team.
Wesleyan dropped out of the national rankings this week.
Wesleyan, under the guidance of veteran head coach Gavin Donaldson, is 6-3-2 on the season.
Mountain East Conference rival University of Charleston remained first in the national rankings with a perfect 10-0-0 mark and stayed first in the regional rankings.
Notre Dame is the other MEC squad ranked regionally as they are sixth this week
