BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team remained sixth regionally in the latest weekly installment of the United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Rankings that were released Tuesday.
The Bobcats went 1-0 last week, holding off Concord for a 2-1 home win on Sunday.
Wesleyan, under the guidance of veteran head coach Gavin Donaldson, is 8-4-2 on the season.
Mountain East Conference rival University of Charleston remained first in the national rankings with a perfect 13-0-0 mark and stayed first in the regional rankings.
Notre Dame is fourth regionally and Urbana moved up regionally to No. 8
Wesleyan will play Seton Hill Wednesday at home at 4 p.m. in non-conference action.
The Bobcats will face Notre Dame this Sunday and then host Charleston next Wednesday.
