BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team remained sixth regionally in the latest weekly installment of the United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Rankings that were released Tuesday.
The Bobcats went 1-1 last week against a pair of regionally ranked teams.
Wesleyan beat 10th-ranked Seton Hill by a 4-0 score but dropped a 1-0 decision to fourth-ranked Notre Dame, 1-0.
Wesleyan, under the guidance of veteran head coach Gavin Donaldson, is 9-5-2 on the season.
Mountain East Conference rival University of Charleston remained first in the national rankings with a perfect 15-0-0 mark and stayed first in the regional rankings.
From the MEC, Notre Dame is fourth and Urbana is ninth regionally.
Wesleyan will play Charleston Wednesday at home at 7 p.m.
