Tennis 'Cats Take Three Matches on Sunday

BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team was a busy squad on Sunday taking on a tripleheader – two matches against West Virginia State and one against Concord.

In their two Mountain East Conference matches, they bested both teams by a 9-0 score.

In a non-conference clash with West Virginia State, they downed the Yellow Jackets by a 6-0 score.

The three wins improved Marc Walters' squad to 9-6 overall and 2-1 in the MEC.

The Bobcats are currently on a four-game winning streak.

Wesleyan will have a busy three days ahead them.

They will host West Liberty on Thursday at 2 p.m., tangle with the University of Charleston on Friday at 11 a.m. and then face Virginia-Wise on Saturday at 2 p.m.
