Men's Cross Country Team Breaks Into Regional Rankings

BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan men's cross country team jumped into the latest USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Rankings this week.

The men are ranked ninth this week.

It is the first time this season the men have been ranked.

Concord is the only other Mountain East Conference team to appear in the regional rankings as they maintained their No. 4 spot.

Wesleyan appears in the rankings after finishing a strong 10th place at the Greater Louisville Classic.

Shippensburg is first in the regional rankings while fellow PSAC member Edinboro (Pa.) is second.

Wesleyan will run again Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the V.A. Hospital Challenge in Clarksburg. They will compete in the Mountain East Conference Championships on Oct. 21 in Bridgeport.
