BUCKHANNON -- The NCAA social media launched their fourth annual Elite 90 Fan Favorite Contest on Tuesday.
The goal of this two-week initiative is to celebrate the student-athletes that have achieved both in the classroom and in their sport. The Elite 90 Award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's 90 championships.
West Virginia Wesleyan softball player Taylor Barnett was the Elite 90 receipient in softball after the Lady Bobcats advanced to the 2017 NCAA Division II Softball World Series.
Fan can vote once per day per computer and no registration is necessary.

First Round: July 11 at 10 am ET to July 14 at 8 pm ET (top 30 vote-getters advance and vote totals are reset)
Semifinals: July 17 at 10 am ET to July 18 at 8 pm ET (top 10 vote-getters advance and vote totals are reset)
Finals: July 19 at 10 am ET to July 20 at 8 pm ET
The finalist with the highest vote total in the final round will be named the winner and will be celebrated from NCAA social media accounts on July 21.

2016: Kasey Cooper, Auburn softball
