Steve Warner is one of the elite softball coaches in the NCAA Division II ranks. 

He ranks ninth nationally among NCAA Division II coaches in victories. He has compiled a 895-330-1 record during his 23 years at West Virginia Wesleyan.

His accomplishments are matched by very few in his profession.

He has been honored as WVIAC/MEC "Coach of the Year" 17 times.

He has coached 17 "Pitchers of the Year."

He has coached 14 "Players of the Year."

He has coached one First Team NFCA All-American (Brooklyn Waddell, 2015)

He has won 20 regular season WVIAC/MEC Championships.

He has won 16 WVIAC/MEC Tournament titles.

He has 15 NCAA Regional appearances.

He has three NCAA Super Regional appearances (2012 and 2014, 2015).

He has coached over 100 all-conference selections.

2008-  Assisted Scot Thomas, Head Coach of Virginia Tech, with Salem All-Star Team which competed against the USA Olympic team.  Had two players, Laura Foster and Emily Niemen, that participated.

The Buckhannon native is married to Terry Warner. The couple has two boys -- Thomas and Jonathan.
