Steve Warner just completed his 22nd season at the helm of the Bobcat softball program. Warner has a career record of 857-318-1.

He has won 17 regular season championships and 15 conference tournament titles. Warner has coached 69 first team All-WVIAC selections, 11 Player of the Year award recipients, 15 Pitchers of the Year and has been voted the league’s Coach of the Year on 15 occasions.

Warner led the Bobcats to a 46-15 record in 2014, advancing to the Super Regional.

He became the 18th coach in NCAA Division II history to eclipse the 800 win mark on April 10, 2013 with a win over Bluefield State.

The 2012 campaign was one of historic proportions for the program. Warner guided the Bobcats to a 43-14 overall record and led the team to its first ever NCAA Regional Championship. The Bobcats fell in a best-of-three series against Kutztown in the Super Regional.

Prior to taking over as head coach, Warner spent three seasons as an assistant on the Wesleyan coaching staff. 

Warner is a native of Buckhannon and received his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan in 1990.
