Women Defeated by Concord

BUCKHANNON- West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Basketball team lost to Concord in their match-up this Saturday 83-67. 


The Bobcats went 26 for 78 (33%) from the field while the Mountain Lions shot 34-58 (58%) from the field. Leading into the fourth quarter the Bobcats trailed by 4 then were outscored 27-15.


The Bobcats were led by Victoria Jackson, Lana Long, and Brittany Stawovy. Jackson scored 13 points followed by Long and Stawovy both with 11.


The Mountain Lions were led by Danielle Catron scoring 19 points and Madison May scoring 16 points.


Wesleyan falls to an overall record of 6-14 and an MEC record of 4-10. The Bobcats match-up next at Charleston on Thursday with a tip off at 5:30
