Edinboro, Pa. -- The West Virginia Wesleyan Lacrosse Team were on the road Thursday afternoon against Edinboro Fighting Scots. The Bobcats were hoping to bounce back from their defeat on Monday against the Shepherd Rams, but fell short suffering a 19 – 5 loss.

From here Edinboro showed their dominance with the Bobcats only able to score periodically. Jessica Hardman and Kelly Steen added to Prescott's goal in the first half, with Wesleyan trailing 11-3 at the half.
The second half was the same story. The Fighting Scots were the first on the score sheet and the 'Cats responded through Holly Lucke who was assisted by Darla Quevedo. Wesleyan's last goal came with 10 minutes left through the team's leading scorer Taylor Holmes, but by this point the game was out of their reach at 17 – 5.
The biggest difference between the two teams was the Fighting Scots registered 35 shots to the Bobcats 12. Wesleyan incurred 10 turnovers to Edinboro's 8 and won 12 groundballs to their 16.
