BUCKHANNON -- The West Virginia Wesleyan women's soccer team has scheduled their annual spring ID camp for April 9.
The student-athlete can get a good viewpoint academically and athletically as to what it means to be a student athlete at Wesleyan. The camp will allow the perspective athlete to showcase their skills and it will also give the athlete a taste of what college soccer is all about on one of the most beautiful private college campuses in the country.
Perspective athletes will train using many of the same methods and facilities that the Lady Bobcat soccer team uses. They will have the opportunity to interact with current players and get the chance to ask them about their experiences. Wesleyan will host a few ID camps over the course of each year, in order to help players test themselves and learn about how to be discovered by colleges, and how to pick the best college for each individual.
The majority of the current Lady Bobcat roster has come through ID Camps orchestrated by head coach Patrick Holguin and his staff.
Per NCAA recruiting rules, the ID Camp will be open to any and all female entrants, who high school aged through junior college.
