BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan women's soccer team continues to move up the United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Rankings as the newest batch of rankings were released today.
Following a perfect 2-0 week, the Lady Bobcats moved up two spots to 11th after being 13th last week.
The Lady Bobcats still remain the only Mountain East Conference team in the national rankings, although Notre Dame College is receiving votes this week.
Head coach Patrick Holguin and his Lady Bobcats are 7-0-1 on the season.
In the USC Atlantic Regional Rankings, Wesleyan remained second behind Kutztown University.
Notre Dame is ranked fourth regionally and Charleston enters the regional rankings this week at No. 10.
Wesleyan and Charleston will meet on the pitch Wednesday at 4 p.m.
