BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan women's soccer team re-entered the top 10 this week in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Rankings that were released on Tuesday.
Wesleyan dropped from 10th to 11th last week, but reemerged at No. 10 this week.
The Lady Bobcats played just one game last week, a 1-0 road win at West Liberty.
It was Wesleyan's 11th shutout of the season as they have allowed just four goals all year.
The Lady Bobcats still remain the only Mountain East Conference team in the national rankings.
Head coach Patrick Holguin and his Lady Bobcats are 13-0-1 on the season.
In the Atlantic Regional Rankings, Wesleyan remained second behind Kutztown University despite Kutztown suffering their first loss of the season this past week to I.U.P.
Notre Dame College is ranked 10th regionally as they are the only other MEC team appearing in the regional rankings. They fell four spots after a loss and tie this past week.
Wesleyan will return to action Wednesday at home as they face Fairmont State.
