Women's Tennis Team Holds Onto Spot in ITA Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The West Virginia Wesleyan women's tennis team continues to hold a top ten regional ranking in the latest poll released this week.

 The Lady Bobcats, ranked for the first time under head coach Marc Walters, come in at No. 9 in the team rankings, while Rebekka Heigermoser and Paula Pimenta remain ranked in singles at No. 10 and No. 18, respectively.

The Lady 'Cats return to the courts this coming week as they host No. 10 Edinboro and No. 2 Mercyhurst at the Bobcat Tennis Complex Saturday and Sunday.

Match times are set for noon each day pending the weather. In the case of rain, play may be moved to Ridgeview Racquet Club in Morgantown.
