2020-2021 will be Adam Brumley's second year at the helm of the West Virginia Wesleyan Swimming program. A native of Buckhannon and a graduate of Wesleyan, Brumley is well connected and positioned to lead the Men's and Women's programs. After graduating from Wesleyan he was named the Head Swimming Coach at Buckhannon-Upshur High School. Brumley was also an assistant coach for the Buccaneers' Track & Field program.
In 2019 Brumley helped Arthur Assfeld excel in the pool and became one of the MEC's top swimmers. Brumley helped Assfeld become a two-time MEC swimmer of the week and achieve First Team All-MEC honors. In total, the Orange & Black had 13 All-MEC selections in Brumley's first season at the helm of the Swim & Dive program.
In addition to his coaching duties, Brumley is also training for the Olympics.
