West Virginia Wesleyan Athletics announced the hiring of Cami Roberts as its new head golf coach on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020. Roberts joins WVWC after serving one year as the head boys and girls golf coach at Braxton County High School.
Roberts competed for the women's golf team at Glenville State College for three seasons. She launched her coaching career as a student assistant coach for the Pioneer golf program her senior year at Glenville State.Â
After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Glenville State, Roberts continued her coaching career and completed the LPGA Teacher Education Program. From 2017-18, Roberts was a teaching professional at the Ballantyne Golf Academy located in Charlotte, N.C.Â
"We are very excited to bring in someone with the professional coaching experience that Cami does," Athletic Director Randy Tenney said. "Cami's leadership and vision for success will take the Bobcat golf program to new heights. We are thrilled Cami is joining the West Virginia Wesleyan family."
