Box Score West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball improved their record to 14-8 this evening after defeating Concord University on the road. The Lady Bobcats won the match in three games.
Game one was won by Wesleyan with a score of 25-18, game two 25-20, and then ending the match with a score of 25-12 in game three.
Freshman middle blocker, Erin Bond, dominated the attack tonight with a team high of 10 kills and 2 errors. Bond also contributed 2 block assists in the match. Senior, Jessica Pattyn, and sophomore, Paula Renteria also chipped in with 7 kills a piece.
On defense for the Bobcats was senior, Courtney Rose, with a team high of 11 digs. Following was junior libero, Renata Comparini, with 8 digs.
Sophomore setter, Casey Pattyn, managed the match with a total of 42 assists.
The Bobcats are next in action at home this Wednesday, October 12th, hosting Davis and Elkins College. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Rockefeller Arena.
