PHILIPPI, W.Va. -- West Virginia Wesleyan edged Alderson-Broaddus, 1-0 in overtime on Tuesday.
The Bobcats improved their record to 4-3.
The lone goal of the evening came nine minutes into the first overtime when sophomore, Matthew Brown (pictured), rebounded a shot on goal by freshman teammate, Paul Riesthus.
Wesleyan out shot Alderson Broaddus 21-14.
Senior, Ryan McDougall, received the win in the net for the Bobcats. McDougall recorded 8 saves for the game.
Wesleyan travels to Shippensburg University on Friday, 7 p.m.
