Lady Bobcats Top WJU, 97-85

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Lydia Bridenbaugh netted 28 points to lead West Virginia Wesleyan to a 97-85 victory over Wheeling Jesuit on Tuesday night.

Brittany Maxey added 20 points and Jamie Kaufman finished with 19 points and eight rebounds. Daria Abros'kina tallied a double-double with 19 points and 10 assists. Abros'kina also pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.

Emily Robinson and Cassy Sanderson led the Cardinals with 20 points each. Lucy DeFruscio finished with 16 points and Taneka Lewis added 14.

The Lady Bobcats are now 2-2 on the year and 1-1 in WVIAC play. WVWC returns to action next Tuesday at Pitt-Johnstown.
