BUCKHANNON, W.Va.—West Virginia Wesleyan sank 11 threes on their way to a 73-55 victory over WV State on Saturday afternoon.
Kelsey Williams led the way for the Bobcats with a double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds). T.J. Thompson added 16 points and Colby Wohlleb tacked on 12. Reggie Chambers dished out 10 of Wesleyan's 24 assists.
WV State was led by 23 points from Robbie Lewis. Also in double figures for the Yellow Jackets was Howard Douglas, with 13 points.
The Bobcats are now 2-2 in conference play and overall. They return to action at home Tuesday night against Virginia Union at 7:30 p.m.
