Lacrosse Preview: 4/13 at Waynesburg (PA)

The women's lacrosse team is in action again this Wednesday, April 13, at Waynesburg (PA). The game was originally scheduled to be played at home but was moved to Waynesburg because of weather and field conditions.

The Bobcats are currently 0-8 in their 2011 season and are looking to earn their first win ever against the Yellow Jackets who are currently 1-6 in their season.

Leading Waynesburg in scoring for the season is Maria Shepas with 17 goals and no assists off of a total of 54 shots. Following Shepas is Molly Kramer with seven points, six goals and one assist, with a total of 25 shots on goal for the season.

The Yellow Jackets have an overall shot percentage of .286 with a total of 105 shots.

Erin Burry is in the goal for Waynesburg, having a total of 40 saves for the season with 240:00 minutes in play. Burry has a record of 1-3.

Ashley Ferguson (pictured) leads Wesleyan with points, having a shot percentage of .467 on 15 total shots on goal. Ferguson has seven goals and five assists.

Also contributing to the Bobcat offense is Kelly Steen with 11 points, ten goals and one assist, off of a total of 32 shots.

Wesleyan has a shot percentage of .282 as a team with a total of 103 shots on goal.

In the goal for the Bobcats is Jessica Lehman with a record of 0-4. Lehman has a total of 31 saves with a total of 279:38 minutes playing. Also seeing time in the goal is Marissa Wright with a total of 180:00 minutes and 28 saves for the season.

The Bobcats and the Jackets will go head to head this Wednesday to battle for the win. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. at Waynesburg.
