Box Score BUCKHANNON, W.Va. - West Virginia Wesleyan women's volleyball team defeated Ohio Valley University tonight on their home court. The Lady Bobcats went into the match with an overall record of 8-5 and a conference record of 1-0.
Wesleyan won the first game of the match 25-16, went on to win game two 25-18, and finished the match winning game three 25-13.
Leading the Bobcats in the front row was senior, Jessica Pattyn, with 9 kills with 1 error on 21 attempts. Senior, Courtney Rose (pictured), also chipped in with 6 kills, 1 error on 9 attempts.
Rose and Pattyn also led Wesleyan in the back row with 11 digs a piece.
Freshman, Erin Bond, made an impressive showing in the front row with 4 block assists for the night.
The Bobcats now advance to 2-0 in the conference and have an overall record of 9-5. The ladies are next in action this Friday, September 23, on their home court against Seton Hill University. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
