SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Matthew Brown broke a 1-1 tie with a goal in the 82nd minute to give Wesleyan a 2-1 win over Shepherd on Sunday.
Nicholas Amberman found the back of the net for the game's first goal early in the second half. Shane Lowery drove home the equalizer with under 10 minutes to play. Brown planted the game winner less than two minutes later to secure the 2-1 win for Wesleyan.
Derik Ayers made a pair of saves in the game.
Wesleyan welcomes WVIAC foe Wheeling Jesuit on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
