BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Glenville State took advantage of Wesleyan's special teams miscues to come away with a 28-21 victory on Saturday afternoon.

Nate Montana passed for a season-high 432 yards, completing 37-of-64  with a pair of touchdowns. Malcolm Yowk led the ground attack with 41 yards on 14 carries. Chase Blackwell had a huge day with 12 catches for 134 yards and scored one touchdown. Justin Heinauer pulled down a pair of passes for 101 yards and Devin Simmons picked up 88 yards on nine receptions with one score.

The Bobcats' defense was led by nine tackles apiece from Jesse Robertson and Michael Peart.

The Pioneers' Justin Feagin completed 10-of-26 passes for 93 yards with one touchdown. Rahmann Lee rushed for 147 yards on 19 carries with three touchdowns. Robert Jiles pulled in four passes for 52 yards.

Wesleyan outgained Glenville State 475-262, but missed three field goals and an extra point.

Lavaughn Hughes got Wesleyan on the board with a 49 yard punt return early in the second quarter to make the score 7-0. The Pioneers blocked a punt with nine seconds left in the half and were set up at the Wesleyan 10. Feagin hit Darian Cleckley on the next play to knot the game at 7-7 at the break.

Lee broke loose on GSC's first possession of the second half to put the Pioneers on top 14-7. The Bobcats answered when Montana found Simmons from one yard out; but the extra point was missed, leaving the Bobcats behind 14-13. The score was set up by an 80-yard reception by Heinauer. The Bobcats forced a Pioneer punt on the next possession, but it hit a Wesleyan player and was recovered by Glenville leading to Lee's second score of the day and making the score 21-13. Lee again found pay dirt later in the quarter to extend the lead to 28-13. Montana hit Blackwell and the two-point attempt was good to get the Bobcats to within seven at 28-21, but the onside attempt was recovered by the Pioneers.

Wesleyan goes on the road for the final time next week at West Virginia State. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
