Box Score GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State scored 53 second half points on its way to a 92-68 win over West Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon.
Atavia Blake registered a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds for WVWC. Kerry Conroy netted a career-best 19 points, hitting on 3-of-3 attempts from beyond the arc.
Ashleigh Fossett (17), Keyona Simmons (16), Tiffani Huffman (13) and Jelena Elaz (12) all finished in double figures for GSC.
The Pioneers scored 22 points off of 28 Wesleyan turnovers.
The Lady Bobats jumped to out to an 11-4 lead in the first half. Glenvlle State closed the half scoring 23 of the final 33 points to take a 39-33 lead to the locker room.
GSC seized contol of the game with a 20-6 run just after the midway point of the second half, taking a 74-54 lead on their way to the 92-68 victory.
Wesleyan will look to get back on track next Saturday as they host Concord at 2 p.m.
