Box Score BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Seton Hill built up a 44-28 halftime lead and never looked back on its way to an 88-59 victory over West Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday.
Danesha Richardson netted 12 points and Allie Browne finished with 11 for the Lady Bobcats. Brittany Maxey ripped down a game-high 13 rebounds.
Meghan Mastroianni led five Griffins in double figures with 20 points. Tiara Strossel finished with a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds). Paige Alviani (19), Kelly Brennan (15) and Katie Gattuso also added double figures for Seton Hill.
The Griffins opened up an 11-4 advantage to start the game. Wesleyan countered with a 7-0 surge to knot the game at 11-11. SHU scored the game's next nine points and would go to the locker room holding a 44-28 lead.
Seton Hill would lead by as many as 29 in the second half on its way to the 88-59 victory.
The Lady Bobcats return to action on January 5, 2013 when they play host to Charleston at 2 p.m.
