BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Seton Hill closed out 2012 with a 79-68 victory over West Virginia Wesleyan on Monday afternoon.
Kelsey Williams recorded his sixth straight double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Noah Cottrill added 13 points for the Bobcats
Four Seton Hill starters reached double figures led by Max Kenyi's 21 points. Malachi Leonard (17), Lenjo Kilo (16) and Oliver McGlade (13) all finished in double digits for the Griffins
The Bobcats dominated on the glass by a 34-24 margin, but shot just 42 percent (23-of-55) from the field while the Griffins sizzled at 58 percent (30-of-52).
Seton Hill built a 24-12 advantage on the Bobcats to open the game. The Griffins scored 16 of the 24 points off of eight Wesleyan turnovers. SHU went to the half holding a 39-25 lead.
The Griffins would lead by as many as 26 in the second half on their way to the 79-68 victory.
Wesleyan will look to get back in the win column on Saturday when they host Charleston at 4 p.m.
