ATHENS, W.Va. -- West Virginia Wesleyan hit on 52 percent (27-of-51) of its shots from the field on the way to a 74-65 win over Concord on Wednesday.
Reggie Chambers paced the Bobcats with 17 points and a game-high seven assists. Raymont McElroy (16), Kelsey Williams (15) and Colby Wohlleb (10) all reached double figures for Wesleyan.
Mike Boyd (15), Cory Willard (11) and Romel Kemp (11) finished with double figures for the Mountain Lions. Kemp pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds.
The first half was back-and-forth, the Bobcats held a slim 31-29 lead at the break. Wesleyan used a 12-3 surge to take a 62-49 lead and would go on to claim the 74-65 victory.
The Bobcats improve to 12-6 overall and 8-6 in league play. Ohio Valley comes to Buckhannon on Saturday to begin a three-game home stretch for Wesleyan at 4 p.m.
