PRINCETON, W.Va. – Raymont McElroy has been named WVIAC Players of the Week, as announced by the league office.
McElroy, a 6'2" senior guard/forward from Milwaukee, Wis., led the Bobcats to a 2-0 week with victories over Glenville State and Shepherd.
In the win over the Pioneers, McElroy posted 23 points and seven rebounds, both of which were game highs. The two-time WVIAC Player of the Week also dished out two assists. Against the Rams, McElroy sank 11-of-18 shots from the floor for a game-high 41 points in 37 minutes of action. He pulled down a couple of boards, had an assist and a steal while guiding WVWC to its seventh consecutive victory and fifth place in the WVIAC standings.
