PHILIPI, W.Va. – The Bobcats outscored A-B 43-27 in the second half on their way to a 77-52 victory.
Raymont McElroy (24) and Kelsey Williams (16) registered double figures for Wesleyan.
Nate Barnes paced the Battlers with 18 points.
Wesleyan wasted no time racing out to a 13-4 lead to open the contest. A-B closed the gap to three at 23-20, but the Bobcats scored 11 of the half's final 16 points to take a 34-25 lead to the break.
Alderson-Broaddus cut the lead to four to begin the second half, Wesleyan answered with a 14-0 jolt to take a commanding 48-30 advantage. The Bobcats would lead by as many as 27 and hold the Battlers without a field goal over the final five minutes to claim the 77-52 win.
Wesleyan has won nine in a row and is now 17-6 on the year, with a 13-6 record in league play. The Bobcats head to Davis & Elkins on Saturday at 4 p.m.
