BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – West Virginia Wesleyan stormed out to a 30-12 halftime lead and rolled to a 65-42 win over Glenville State on Thursday.
Raymont McElroy (23) and Reggie Chambers (10) each registered double figures for the Bobcats.
Jamal Morris notched 10 points for GSC.
Wesleyan took an 18 point lead to the locker room at the half. McElroy netted 10 points in the first half. The Bobcats hit on 5-of-11 shots from beyond the arc in the first 20 minutes. WVWC held a 23-17 advantage on the glass, including nine offensive rebounds which turned into nine second chance points.
WVWC would lead by as many as 27 on its way to the 65-42 victory.
The Bobcats improve to 14-6 overall and 10-6 in the WVIAC play. The men welcome Shepherd on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
