Box Score 2 FAIRMONT, W.Va. – West Virginia Wesleyan wrapped up play at Falcon Fest on Saturday falling to Point Park, 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-12) before outlasting Ursuline 3-2 (21-25, 25-18, 25-14, 20-25, 15-13).
Korin Wengryn led the way for the Bobcats against Point Park with eight kills. Casey Pattyn recorded 19 assists and Renata Comparini finished with three digs.
Wengryn paced a balanced Wesleyan attack with 20 kills against Ursuline. Erin Bond added 12 kills and Samantha Swann tallied 11. Pattyn registered 52 assists and 12 digs, while Comparini picked up 21 digs.
Wesleyan (3-1) travels to Lock Haven on Friday and Saturday for its second tournament of the year.
