Box Score Urbana, Ohio – Women's Soccer continue their fine run of form with a 1-0 win over Urbana Blue Knights.
When these two teams met earlier this season the Lady Bobcat's were triumphant with a 1-0 win and did it again Saturday afternoon.
Wesleyan demonstrated their dominance throughout the game but it took until the 89th minute for the Bobcat's to find the game winning goal. Kristi Dalton proved to be the deciding factor in this game, when her shot from 45 yards out surprised the Blue Knights goalkeeper Taylor Gianangeli giving the Wesleyan that all important goal.
The Cat's tallied a total of 15 shots with 8 on target. Wesleyan's Dalton led the team with 4 shots and 3 on goal. The Bobcat's only allowed Urbana a total of 2 shots with only 1 on target.
The Bobcat's outweighed the Blue Knights with 6 corner kicks to their 1.
Women's Soccer are 8-2-1 in the Conference and are currently sitting in second place just 5 points behind Notre Dame. The Bobcat's are 9-4-1 overall and are back in action Wednesday October 23 when they travel to Shepherd for a 1:00pm kick-off.
