Men's Soccer Downed to Ten Men

Charleston, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Soccer Team suffered a 3-0 defeat to the University of Charleston Golden Eagle's Saturday evening.

The turning point of the game was in the 25th minute when freshman Ante Susic was shown a red card leaving the Bobcat's down to ten men.

Wesleyan conceded just before half-time and was never able to recover. The Bobcat's squandered their chances in the second half and allowed Charleston to add two more goals.

Despite the score line, the game was evenly contested for the majority of the game. Wesleyan registered 14 shots, with 9 coming from Joe Ferraracci, to Charleston's 15. The Bobcat's also had 2 corners to the Golden Eagle's nil.

A tough loss for the Bobcats now means they are 2-2-2 in the MEC, and 3-4-3 overall. Men's Soccer is looking to get back on track on Tuesday October 8 where they travel to Bloomsburg for a 4:00pm kick-off.
