Box Score BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The Wesleyan women fell in their home finale on Saturday afternoon to Davis & Elkins by a 65-49 margin.
Brittany Maxey finished with 15 points to lead the Bobcats. Atavia Blake pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds. Kerry Conroy tallied 10 points.
Paige Turner guided the Lady Senators with 15 points on five three-point field goals and a game-high four assists. Sharmaine Baker added 11 points for D&E.
Davis & Elkins went on a 17-4 surge in the first half to seize a 25-15 advantage. The Senators' run was ignited by a trio of three-point baskets. D&E scored 10 of the final 14 points of the half to take a 35-24 lead into the locker room.
The Senators blistered the nets in the first half, making 14-of-25 (56 percent) of their attempts from the field--including burying 6-of-10 shots from beyond the arc. D&E limited Wesleyan to 9-of-27 (33 percnet) shooting from the field. Nine different Lady Senators scored in the 35 points of the first 20 minutes.

The Lady Bobcats will be on the road at West Virginia StateMonday evening in the first round of the WVIAC tournament.
