Box Score 2 SALEM, Va. – The Wesleyan softball team dropped a pair of close contests on Saturday morning. The Bobcats fell to Millersville by a 2-0 score and dropped a 2-1 decision to Bloomsburg.
The Marauders got a two-run homer in third inning, which would be enough as Millersville took the 2-0 victory.
Kaitlyn Carey suffered the loss, allowing two runs on four hits, while strking out five and walking one.
Carey put Wesleyan in front 1-0 with a RBI single against Bloomsburg. The Huskies responded with a two-RBI double in the fourth to go on top 2-1, and would go on to win by that margin.
Jessica Griffin surrendered two runs on eight hits with three strikeouts.
The Bobcats face Lock Haven and Kutztown on Sunday.
