Box Score BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The Wesleyan lacrosse team saw a halftime lead erased for the second game in a row as the Bobcats fell to Urbana 8-5 in the snow at Buckhannon-Upshur High School.
Jessica Hardman found the back of the net twice on the day, while Jocelyn Prescott, Catie Riggleman and Taylor Holmes each got on the board once. Jenna Wadsworth registered eight saves.
Hardman broke a 3-3 tie on a free position shot just 45 ticks before intermission, putting WVWC ahead 4-3 at the break. The Bobcats never trailed in the first 30 minutes.
The Blue Knights' Tabitha Stein put Urbana in front 6-5 on a goal during the man advantage with just under 20 minutes to play. Emily Boerger notched the final two tallies of the game to seal the 8-5 win.
Wesleyan hosts Thiel on April 4th.
