Bobcats Close Out Regular Season with Win

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. -- Aitor Reparaz fueled the West Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team to a 7-2 win in their final regular season match Thursday afternoon.

Reparaz clawed back from a 0-5 hole at #4 singles to claim a 7-5, 6-2 in over West Liberty's Gui Lima,  completing a Bobcat sweep of the two through five spots to seal the win.

Wesleyan began the day by winning all three doubles matches to take a commanding early lead. Douglas Oliviera, Ed Gusevs, and Joel Izquierdo each followed with straight set wins to set up Reparaz's heroics.

The win clinched the third seed for the Bobcats in the upcoming WVIAC tournament and improved to 6-2 in the conference and 10-4 overall.
