Lacrosse Wins Home Finale, 16-4

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The Wesleyan lacrosse team rolled to a 16-4 win over Waynesburg on Senior Day at Ross Field.

Emily Noel found the back of the net on seven occasions, while Kelly Steen scored three goals and Taylor Holmes scored a pair. Megan Albertson, Paige Hacker, Alexi Swisher and Jessica Hardman each netted one goal for the Bobcats.

Jenna Wadsworth made eight saves for WVWC.

Wesleyan built a 9-3 halftime lead after limiting the Yellow Jackets to just four shots in the first 30 minutes. WVWC continued to roll through the second half to claim the 16-4 win.

The Bobcats close out the 2013 season at Slippery Rock next Friday.
