SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Wesleyan lacrosse team dropped its final outing of the season, 23-4 to Slippery Rock on Thursday evening.

Jessica Hardman scored a pair of goals, while Taylor Holmes and Emily Noel each found the back of the net once. Jenna Wadsworth made five saves.

SRU scored four goals in the game's first five minutes on its way to a 12-3 halftime lead. The Rock opened the second frame with nine unanswered goals on their way to the 23-4 win.

Wesleyan finished the season 4-11. Thursday's loss ended the careers of Wadsworth and Jocelyn Prescott.
