Bobcats Blank Falcons, 9-0

FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- WVWC swept Fairmont State 9-0 in WVIAC men's tennis action Friday.

Wesleyan won in straight sets at every position; Douglas Oliviero had the closest match, as he took a 6-4 6-2 decision over Zach Smith in the #1 spot.  Fairmont State captured no more than four games in any of the other matches, as the Bobcats raised their record to 7-4 overall and 4-2 in the WVIAC.

The Bobats will host a rescheduled non-conference match with the Falcons at 3pm on Monday in Buckhannon, before travelling to Davis and Elkins on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. start. They close out the regular season at home against West Liberty on Thursday, April 11th at 3:30 p.m.
