Lacrosse Ends Skid with 17-9 Win at Chowan

MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Wesleyan lacrosse team ended a six game slide with an 17-9 win over Chowan on Sunday afternoon.

Emily Noel and Jessica Hardman each found the back of the net on five occasions for the Bobcats. Kelly Steen netted three goals, while Jenna Wadsworth and Taylor Holmes each scored a pair of goals.

Wadsworth picked up the win, recording four saves in the contest. Alexi Swisher made five saves in the match.

WVWC raced out to a 7-1 lead and coasted to the 17-9 victory.

The lacrosse team travels to St. Vincent on April 15.
