BUCKHANNON, W.Va. -- West Virginia Wesleyan ousted Fairmont State for the second time in four days, claiming a 9-victory.
WVWC only dropped eight games in the match, while the keeping the Falcons off the scoreboard.
"We are finally hitting a stride thanks to some good weather, and, we have for the first time all year, a line up that looks like it should," said head coach Marc Walters. "We're healthy, and hitting with some confidence--which is a good thing coming into a big week against D&E and West Liberty."
The Bobcats, 8-4 overall and 4-2 in WViAC play, travel to Davis and Elkins for a key conference showdown Tuesday at 4 p.m. The Senators lost a close 6-3 decision to Wesleyan back in March, and currently sit at #8 in the regional rankings.
