Bobcats Fall to Falcons

Box Score

South Euclid, Ohio -- The Women's Soccer team were the second Wesleyan team to be in action at Notre Dame on Saturday.

On a wet and cloudy day, the Bobcat's suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Falcons.

Wesleyan conceded their first goal just before half time from a corner kick that was put in by the Falcon's Katherine Beattie.

A similar story occurred in the second half, when with just four minutes left to play the Bobcat's conceded again from a cross which allowed Beattie to grab her second of the game.

Despite the loss, The Lady Bobcats outshot the Falcons by 9-8 and both teams had a total of 3 corners each. Out of Notre Dame's 8 shots only 2 were on target with both resulting in goals. Wesleyan registered 5 shots on target but failed to convert any.

This loss now means the Ladies are 2-3-1 for the season. The Bobcat's are back in action Wednesday September 25 when they host the Shepherd Rams at 4pm.
