INSTITUTE – The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat tennis team traveled to Institute today in an effort to knock-off West Virginia State, the top team in the Mountain East Conference.

Wesleyan though failed to gain a victory in their road outing falling by a 9-0 score.

West Virginia State improved to 7-0 overall and 7-0 in the MEC.

Wesleyan fell to 3-5 overall and 2-4 in the MEC.

The Lady Bobcats of head coach Marc Walters will return to action Tuesday at Fairmont State as they wrap-up their regular season.

They will begin play in the MEC Tournament Friday in Charleston.
