BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team made major jumps in both the national and regional rankings this week.
Coming off a week where they went on the road and beat Lock Haven, 3-0, and Concord, 1-0, pollsters took notice of Wesleyan's five-game unbeaten streak.
Nationally, the Bobcats are receiving votes for the first time this season as they received eight this week in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Men's National Rankings.
That lands them 29th in the national rankings.
In the Atlantic Regional rankings, the Bobcats jumped two spots from sixth to fourth place.
The Mountain East Conference has five of the 10 teams ranked in the Atlantic Region this week including No. 1 Charleston and No. 3 Notre Dame.
