Slippery Rock, Pa. --  The women's Lacrosse team took to the road to do battle with The Rock of Slippery Rock Wednesday afternoon.  The Rock handed the Bobcats their first loss of the season, 21-3, to bring their overall record to 1-1.

Wesleyan would be led by Taylor Holmes as she tallied two out of the three goals for the 'Cats. Midfielder Holly Lucke would add the other score while goalkeeper Kallie Morgan collected 13 saves on the day.  It was, however, the consistent pressure from the Rock, totalling 42 shots compared to Wesleyan's 11, was just too much to subside that gave the advantage.

The team will regroup and begin their Spring Break trip with a competition at Emmanuel(Ga.) at 2:00pm.
