Buckhannon, W.Va. -- In a competition stricken season against the weather, Mother Nature has claimed another victory as Tuesday's home baseball game at Hank Ellis Field has been cancelled due to rain.

The Bobcats planned on getting another game under the belt before heading into the last regular season weekend after coming off a 1-3 stint at the University of Charleston this past weekend.  In the victory, center fielder John Koon collected 3 RBI's going 3-4 from the plate with two runs scored himself.  His effort was accompanied by third baseman Corey Lynn, designated hitter Robert Paterson, and second baseman Michael Bolla as they each tallied two hits in the win, collectively adding three of the other four RBI's.  Pitcher Seth Corwin got the win for the Bobcats in 6.1 innings of work while freshman Cullen Hoone finished the deal in 2/3 innings.

The Bobcats will hope the weather fairs better than projected this weekend as they are scheduled to host rival Glenville State in a four game battle to close the regular Mountain East Conference season.  First pitch for, both, Saturday and Sunday are scheduled for 1:00pm.
